Matan Koch is coming to town! Parents, we hope you will be joining us from 1pm-3pm for an amazing presentation on disability inclusion within the Jewish community.

And there’s great news… we have parallel programming for your kids, so while you learn and enjoy your time, your children can have fun while learning about disability inclusion, too!

Kids (PreK and up) are invited enjoy lunch and snacks (pizza, salad, etc.), followed by a KIDS-ONLY program, focused on raising awareness of individuals with disabilities.

Through fun games and activities, kids will get an understanding of what it feels like to be someone with diminished senses, physical disabilities, and/or memory loss.

Play the game of Memory as yourself and then play the game of Memory with physical challenges put into play… put together a completely blank puzzle without a picture helping show you how… participate in a relay-race to set the Shabbat table without being able to see and/or stand… paint a canvas picture without full use of all of your eyes and/or hands.

With the assistance of Laura Ungar, Memory Care Advisor at Arden Court, our goal is help all participants connect with each other, celebrate their uniqueness, gather a deeper understanding of what others may experience, and display kindness to all people, regardless of their differences.
