Har Sinai – Oheb Shalom Congregation is proud to share that our long-time congregants, Dr. Barry and Mrs. Adele Cohan, were recognized by the University of Maryland School of Dentistry for their many years of philanthropy to the school.
The school recently renamed the Pediatric Dental Clinic as the Dr. Barry and Mrs. Adele Cohan Pediatric Dental Clinic in the couple’s honor. In the article from the school’s publication Mdental, Dr. Jay Perman, chancellor of the University System of Maryland , another longtime HSOSC congregant, and himself a respected name in pediatric medicine, noted the challenge of providing top-quality dental care to children with special needs and had high praise for the clinic.
