Lunch and Learn: Christian Nationalism and Us: Continuing the Interfaith Conversation
Saturday, March 15, 2025 • 15 Adar 5785
11:45 AM - 2:00 PMOn January 11, members of HSOSC and St. Johns-Western Run held a program called The Impact Of Christian Nationalism: An Interfaith Discussion on Protecting Our Shared Society. The event was well attended and generated deep and meaningful discussions.
On March 15, we will continue this discussion as we learn more about the impact this movement is having on today’s political climate, strengthen our relationships based on our shared values, and identify specific ways we can take action, both at the meeting and in the days ahead, in order to help create a fair and just society. Rev. Clement and Rabbi Sabath will be sharing short texts to inspire us as we respond to this moment.
Please join us before hand at Shabbat Services at 10 am if you are able.
Light lunch included – Free to members of both congregations; $18 for nonmembers
You did not have to attend on January 11 to register for March 15.
Although not a requirement, if you were unable to attend on January 11, please try to view “Spiritual Warriors: Decoding Christian Nationalism at the Capitol Riots” (Link HERE).
Sorry, Registration has ended.
