Join us as author Michael Palmer discusses his new book about the American synagogues of the German Jewish architect Eric Mendelsohn, who designed and built four synagogues in the United States that became benchmarks for modern American synagogue architecture. Our speaker will bring Mendelsohn’s fascinating story to us, from which we will discover that the Jewish issues in his life and times are with us still today. Joining us for the discussion is our own member and architect of our temple addition, Mark Levin, who has designed synagogues across America.
