Even almost 80 years after the end of World War II, generations of Germans are still grappling with their country's and, in many cases, their own family's horrible legacy of the Nazi dictatorship. Join German historian Anette Isaacs for a fascinating discussion of how the German nation has, over the last 8 decades, attempted to cope with the guilt of having caused the Holocaust.

Week 1) A discussion of German Guilt Week
2) Exploring Holocaust Memorials in Berlin and Germany to determine artistic representations of Guilt Week
3) Nazi Hunter Fritz Bauer: A heroic story Week
4) Germany and Israel: a story of guilt and an unlikely friendship
