Canasta is a fantastic lifelong experience. Each hand provides the opportunity to try a new strategy. Canasta is like the game Chutes and Ladders. Sometimes your score allows you to climb up to the next challenging level. Sometimes your score allows you to slide back down to a lower score. However, a game can change on a dime depending on your cards and your strategies. If you have a smile on your face and you enjoy socializing and learning, canasta lessons are right for you.

Eris Chorney is a retired special educator and professional school counselor who loves to teach and have FUN! Her passion is to enjoy life while teaching others STRATEGY games and building friendships. Her overall goal is laughter. Eris has the gift of patience that makes her the perfect teacher for a game of strategy such as canasta. Her positive “You can do anything you put your mind to” attitude is indeed contagious.
