Rabbi Sabath will be sitting shiva with the HSOSC Community on Sunday 8/29 and Monday 8/30 evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. under the tent at HSOSC.
Suzanne Wells Sabath (1937-2021) died on Monday, August 23, 2021. Born in New Haven, CT to Louis Wells and Shirley Lindenberg Wells, Suzanne was an alumna of Harvard (Radcliffe) College and earned a masters degree at Yale University. While raising three small children she attended Boston University Law School and was a practicing attorney for many years in Minneapolis, MN. She was a classical pianist, an avid reader, and active in working toward women's equal rights and reproductive freedom. She is survived by her three daughters, Natasha Shabat, Joanna Sabath and Rabbi Rachel (Rabbi Ofer) Sabath Beit-Halachmi, as well as three grandchildren. Suzanne is also survived by two older brothers, Dr. Herb (Beth) Wells and Dr. Allan (Raquel) Wells. A private graveside service was held.
