Join us as we observe Tisha B’Av (the 9th of Av) which commemorates the destruction of the ancient Temple in Jerusalem and other traumas the Jewish people survived throughout history.

We will gather with Rabbi Sabath, Cantor Marcus, and Bill Bronstein to:

• Study, Sing, and Reflect together;
• Recite verses from Lamentations (Eicha) with a special trope to commemorate the gravity of the day;
• Learn about the customs and music for Tisha B’Av; and to
• Discuss big questions like: How have our lives and prayers changed in the last 311 days?
• How is October 7th a Modern-Day Tisha B’Av?
