Rarely has the nation been so divided. Will authoritarian politicians nominate an extremist candidate for president in 2024? Will Republicans embark on a culture war campaign? Will Democrats, unhappy with their leader, coalesce around an ultra-liberal alternative? Will Supreme Court rulings affect primary elections? Next year's presidential balloting could be the most important of our lifetime. We'll look at where things stand and what is likely to happen.

Barry Rascovar has been an influential voice on Maryland politics for four decades with the Baltimore Sun. Today, Barry teaches courses on presidential elections and foreign policy at various local lifelong learning programs. Barry is the author of “The Great Game of Maryland Politics” and “Marylanders of the Century.” He holds honorary degrees from both Stevenson and Towson Universities.

Registration Information:
All SPICE courses must be registered for and paid for in their entirety. SPICE fees are per head, not per household, with a 50% off fee for second registrants within the same household. A minimum of 15 enrollees per course are required in order to hold the course. If a course must be cancelled, those registered will be notified and a SPICE credit will be issued.
